Honeybush grows wild in the mountains outside Clanwilliam, South Africa. This one comes from Niklaas Jakobus Slinger's farm there. It tastes like rooibos's quieter cousin — honey, caramel, dried fruit, warm wood — and brews slightly sweeter and smoother than rooibos without any caffeine.

Good for evenings. Re-steeps once or twice, and the sweetness tends to come forward on the second cup.
